Frozen Screen and no function Keys work
I was going to update my phonebook via bluetooth but I canceled the procedure. Now my screen is frozen at "update phonebook" and none of the buttons for any function work.I can't change source of audio, I get no map on the navigation screen, no rear camera view.It is totally stuck on the "update phonebook" screen.I have restarted the car a number of times to no avail.Has this happened to anybody else. Looking for an answer.

Sorry to hear about the strange problem with your EX35. I have the same system on my Armada, and never had any issues like that. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes? If that doesn't work, I would contact the dealer right away, let us know what happens!

After numerous restarts I gave up and had dinner.My plan was to go into the garage and disconnect the battery but thought I'd give it one more try.Upon starting the car after a two hour "rest" all was fine. Apparently I got the self healing option.
