After a lot of research, I have decided to spend more money on the cryogenic rotors from Frozen Rotors. The difference ended up being a little over $80 vs. online cost of the OEM rotors, and I used a discount code.

I will be using new Hawk HPS pads that I already bought a while ago, and since I drive rather aggressively, the components usually get to temperature pretty quickly. No concerns here.

I will be around 38k miles at the time of installation. As far as I know, the front brakes are all original. The rotors have a little build up on them, causing annoying pulsation that did not go away with "bedding in" of the existing pads (per StopTech's instructions).

I will try to keep you all updated on the progress. I am curious myself if there really is a difference when it comes to these treated rotors. Only time will tell. And if there is not, I am only out $80... so no biggy. One less trip to the shooting range this month

Any opinions or experience with Frozen Rotors?

My plans as well. Plenty of friends use these on the track and last a full season or more. Pads will wear very long.

Where did you get your coupon code?

Do you work with Infiniti of Cincinnati? They are great folks!!!

The coupon for 15% off can be found online, but here ya go: FR1394

Yeah, I do get stuff done at IoC. I have befriended Tom Smith (service manager) over the past few months, and have learned a lot about the car. He and the rest of the peeps in there are great folks!

My rotors should be shipping Monday. I will put them on as soon as they arrive. Will report my progress.

I am looking into this as well. Arizona summers tend to cook brakes and I had some really bad vibe's when braking hard (OK, really hard) from about 90 down to 55 last week. Time to look at my rotors. Probably just do the fronts for now. Thanks for the tip --
