Frozen Rear Caliper-PLEASE HELP

Was Changing the rear brakes and have a frozen caliper, any help on how to unfreeze it?

what do you mean by frozen? like it just wont budge for some reason? or is something obstructing it?you have to bleed the pressure out of the rear brakes

which side of the rear brakes has the parking brake

Rear brakes with hand brakes have to be turn and the are push in, there is a special tool to do that

you have to twist it in with that cube thing. if it's not hat i would buy a remanufactured one.

make sure the bleeder valve is open before you try and push in the caliper.This is probably your problem.

OK, back on topic here.

None of the above will help you if your calipers are truly frozen like mine were. I removed and disassembled my rear calipers and found that the slider was completely rusted on the driver's side. There was NO way to free it up. If this is the way yours are, then you will need new calipers. The best solution that I found was to get loaded calipers, meaning that they came complete with pads already installed. You just bolt them on. Make sure you get them installed on the proper side with the bleeder pointing up. If you need any help, let me know. I'll be glad to make a phone call if necessary.

Oh, the e-brake works both sides. :)
