Is this swap possible? Can the trans be adapted for use, if not, what trans might work? Would a possible adaptation into some sort of AWD or 4WD monstrosity work? Most of the Frontier is still present and accounted for so I could get almost a complete "transplant". I'm not looking to have a 4WD ride height either. I'm more into the stealth look, even as far as retaining the factory wheel covers.

is it possible yeah sure why not, now the awd thing im sure it could be done but its pretty much pointless. now as far as putting the motor and the transmission in it itll be some work and will take someone who knows what they doing to do it. but other then custom engine mounts and the lack of at least the tach (sohc car with dohc motor) and youll probably loose a few other things, a/c, heat, maybe power steering, i dont know what all you would loose though. the transmission would probably have to have mounts fabricated for it. you would more then likely need a custom driveshaft. oh and unless you can find someone to do all of this for free itll get expensive real fast. what you have here in my opinion is something thats done just to be done. in the money youd spend doing it you could drop an sr in the 240. and save yourself time trouble and hearache and probably some money as well.

droping a VG30 is goign to cost money but not as much as people think..... The 4wd part is probobly going to cost you the most.
