frontier limited slip/ gears

have newly acquired 04 frontier xe w/ 2.4 /5 spd, 2wd . am on a carribean island where top speeds over 50 mph are rare but verry hilly and wet roads common. loaded up, this truck has a hard time getting started on a hill... no torque to speak of... have no idea what rear end gears are in it but figure prob 3.9 or 4.11 . was wondering if anyone knows as a matter of fact if any other off the shelf frontier would have a limited slip w a 4.55 or 4.88 that i could locate and swap out. what do the 4wd 4 cyl have as standard... anyone know ?
