frontier KA-24 oil pump?

can someone tell me if these have the external oil pump like L,Z and KA-24Es do or is it inside the front cover like the 240SX DOHC engine

external hanging off the front cover. if its the 85 frame your talking about.

sorry-I should have been more specific-I was in a hurry:rolleyes

I mean the frontier trucks with the KA-24DE-I think they started putting them in there in the late 90s/2000 yrs

I know all the 12 valve engines have the external type-and the 240SXs(DOHC) have the internal type-and the frontier stuff seems to be a KA-24E block with a DE head but I'm not sure which type of oil pump

DAMN I dont know...lol work on them every day but have never payed that close attention to that. you have made me scratch my head in confusion. does it or doesnt it. I will probably see at least 3 of them tomorrow so I will take a look.I find it amussing I dont know for sure. but I am pretty sure its still external. since the distributor is still oriented the same.
