ok i did a search with no results so it must just be my car, but my front wipers will not work unless i place on a seperate toggle switch.

i replaced the motor, steering column switch and checked all fuses in fuse box, could it just be a cut wire somewhere or is there more that i should be looking for?

(i didnt pay for the parts, i had a frame rotted hatch i had laying around for parts i got for free from a friend.)

this is a 90 240sx xe coupe ka24e

could be a bad ground maybe? did you replace the wiring to it or did you use the factory wiring when you did the toggle switch?

maybe theres a short or a broken wire in there.

i placed a new ground to test that and it still not working, and no, i ran seprate lines with the toggle switch.

my bet is on a broken wire. unfortunately my patience for taking my dash off to rerun a new wire in place of the oem one is very limited lol. maybe if i go do the right hand driving conversion. but thats a long way away from now

I'm from Buffalo, and pretty good with electronics. I could come and take a look at it for you.
