front windshield wipers

I searched the forum and saw a lot of input for replacing the front wipers on an '09 Murano, but they all described replacemnt of the entire wiper blade unit. Does anyone know if you can just replace the blades themselves (what I used to call inserts) or are they an integral part of the wiper blade unit? Thanks.

Replace the entire wiper blade assembly. Replace with the Rain-X Latitude wiper blades! If you use a traditional wiper it looks strange and makes a "whistling" sound when driving at high speeds. The Latitude can be purchased at many retailers, and certainly any Automotive retailer. I personally have them on my G37 which has the same blade as the Murano.
