There are vents in the plastic splash liners located in front of both of the front wheels - tell me, is there really a significant draft in the areas of these vents - does enough air spin off the the wheel when it's rotating that an add'l cooling matrix could be placed behind them [for either oil, transmission, or even intercooling] - they are pointed downward, so the chances of too much splash (from rain or puddles) getting up into the vent area is minimized - they are really prominent in the Y33's but the G50's have them too - advise

They are there for a reason. In the G50, they promote airflow through the active cooler.

It is where I locate my ATF coolers as you can see in my gallery.

You really need to read more of the previous posts.

You really need to add the ducting from the active in order to get any sort of airflow through there.. Those little vents just allow air to pass through from the front, not the other way around.

The 300zx wheels were directional in that correctly mounted they sucked air out from inside past rotors and out the wheel............just as powerstop drilled rotors are directional to pull air from center vent out thru metal edges.

Really hard to redesign things without a wind tunnel or cameras and smoke generators attached in front of bumpers.
