Front Wheels Sqealing!!! Pease Help!

Hi,

I have a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder, it's a great truck, but recently like 2 months ago, it began squealing every time i turn, especially left turns! Now it squeals constantly! It's so annoying, i'm sure someone out there might know what to do! Please, if you know what may be wrong, let me know how to fix it. Is it a serious problem? It's on 20" rims, but i don't think that has an effect? Thank you very much

On my 01 QX4 it's been doing it for a while now. When I took it to my old mechanic he told me that there is no threat, it's just a noise and would cost about $350 to fix it. So if it's that annoying I should have him do the work, if I can live with it then hold off. If this is the same issue, which it sounds like it is, then you're okay. I do not know what the problem is but would like to because maybe it's something I can fix on my own. Thanks for posting!

Well... it can be a number of things. From a squeeky belt (inexpensive, usually just an adjustment or belt replacement) to your power steering pump (expensive). If you are not mechanically inclined, have someone do an estimate for you then post up here what they say the problem is... Maybe we can offer some more advice.
