Good morning. New member here with a question. I have a 2002 Pathfinder LE with the 3.5 engine and electronic control 4x4. It has 150k on it and it has been really dependable. The issue that arised is that the truck has a vibration or hum from the front end when rolling more or less at any speed. I believe it is transmission related due to that if I go from 2 wheel drive to AUTO, the vibration pauses momentarily and then comes back slightly. I switch back to 2 wheel drive and the vibration/hum comes back to the more noticable level as before. Also, when I roll to a stop, or start rolling, there is a noticable "clicking" that sounds like there coming from the front wheels area. I dont know if this is related to the vibe but they both started happening around the same time. Any leads are appreciated. Thanks, Steve Z

take 20 minutes and remove your front driveshaft. 8 bolts really easy (mark where the shaft meets the flange so you can put it back the same place). If the vibration, hum, goes away, change your ujoints. I had the same thing happen to me last year... and I have a 2001...

Thanks for the reply. I just had our friends shop look at the truck today and your suggestion is correct. Will get repaired soon. Thanks again for the info. Steve Z
