I seem to have a bad wire on the pigtail that plugs into the front passenger turn signal bulb socket. When I activate the turn signal it blinks as tho the lamp is out... Fast. While it is blinking I can play with the middle of the the wires of the pigtail leading to the socket and if I get it in just the right position it will blink normally. As soon as I let go, tho, it starts blinking fast again. The wires are exposed there and my thinking is that there had been enough movement that it has damaged the wire enough that it is not transmitting properly. I can't find the pigtail anywhere to purchase so I can repair it, just a $1,400 wiring harness and I'm not paying to replace that. Any thoughts? I'm not sure it will pass inspection blinking the way it is.

Thanks!

Boneyard. Get the new (used) end ..cut off the old. Reinstall (do it correctly so it is sealed up). Absolutely no need to get crazy on this one and spend a lot of money.
