Front Tow Hook question

Does your Versa come with one or do you have to order it?

My car came with the hook. It's in the little black bag with the spare tire in the hatch.

mine doesn't have one. I called my selling dealer and told them it was missing and they didn't think it comes with one. Thanks for the info on the location of the tow hook.

yeah... every V should come with one... your dealer's being retawdid.

I would definitely get one from the dealer. I can't imagine a tow hook being optional equipment. Where would you even go to buy one?

Every car comes with one...or should. This is how they secure the cars to the deck of the ship or train when shipping the cars.

So I guess I'm not the only one without a tow hook? I'm visiting the dealer in a couple weeks for my V to get its first oil change, so I'll probably call them up soon and find out.

Maybe Nissan have been cheaping out on those of us with newer cars?

Dealer order part under the we owe you branch of the new car sales dept. it is coming out of the sales mans pocket not the warranty's.

Yea pretty much it's there to pull you out of a bad situation. lol

From what I've been able to research, the Versa cannot be towed "flat" behind another vehicle (manual nor auto transmission). You can use a tow dolly though.
