Ok so I lowered my z and in happy with the way it turned out I'm now only having a prob with toe, I think only in the front though. Do I adjust it by the rack and pinion or what?

You go and get an alignment. Not really something you want to do in your garage

+1

You need a precision alignment rack to do this. A tire shop can do it.

$80? I wish! The only shop that I can actually fit my car on their rack wanted $140. Please......

$80 is fair, pretty standard price for an alignment. You could see if they might discount you just to set the front toe (shop I used to be at we always called it a toe-n-go lol), but I wouldn't count on that.

Do you have another car to drive til then?

If he just lowered all around, it's not tracking straight that he's worried about. It's tire wear.

Aussie, what's more expensive, a new set of tires or an $80 alignment? Weigh your options here.

:yesnod

Think about it like this: if your toe is off by .125"(positive or negative, assuming you're going for 0), it's pretty far off. Do you really have the precision tools and required skills to not only figure out how far out of whack your toe is but to adjust your tension rods and steering rack in the correct way to make it perfect? I honestly don't think anyone on this forum has that capability unless they work at a shop.

Go get your s*** fixed.

I guarantee you, your toe front and rear are screwed up. It is not something you can just eyeball. You need proper equipment and skill to be able to align your car. Take it to a shop and get it done properly. At the risk of sounding like an a**, stop being cheap and get your car set up right.

And no, a proper alignment shop will not just align your front. They align your front in relation to your rears. So if your rears are off, your fronts will be off as well. They will always straighten the rears first, and then move up to the front. Seriously, $80 is nothing when compared to a new set of tires.

See, the problem I hear of people having is that their cars are too low to get onto alot of alignment racks. What do you do in that situation, im sure you've came across this.

Go to a guy whose rack my car can clear. So far, I have 3 places I can go to. My first choice has his rack modified to fit extremely lowered cars. Mine goes on with no issues.

Some places have completely flat alignment rack/lifts. No ramps to drive up, no edges to clear. People have been running slammed for years, and shops have found ways to get heir alignments done.

Why would you do just a 2 wheel alignment? The rear isn't a solid rear axle. Lol.

^^
'Cause that's all the general population understands is that they need a front alignment, and people don't want to pay more money than they have to, so shops don't press it.
