Yesterday I decided to bring the car in and spray PB Blaster to every bolt and nut. Apply anti seize to any bolt that would come off without snapping. And do some other stuff.

Long story short I tried to remove the front sway bar bushings and three of the four came off. But one but snapped taking the stud with it. Days like these I feel like an idiot for not using both my hand tools and my head (The best tool of all). I could have used a nut cracker and I would have never even have had to create this topic. But like a idiot I sprayed PB blaster a couple of days ago to the nut in question. And then yesterday I sprayed the nut with PB blaster and tried to remove it with a 14 MM 6 point socket and a 3/8'ths drive socket wrench....

I see Nissan planned ahead for idiots like me and put a bracket that mounts to the frame rail (unibody). This bracket holds the other bracket which has studs for the sway bar clamp to mount to. Is this bracket meant to be replaced though? What is the torque for the bolts that hold the bracket that holds the other bracket with studs in it? What is the part number for this bracket because its not listed ANYWHERE!

I hope this has not been answered before.

New one to me. Glad they planned for it though...
