Front Suspension rattle with A/C on

Fellow M'ers - Has anyone experienced or have a guess of what could be causing a squeaking noise in the front suspension when the A/C is on? Only occurs when the A/C is on and the suspension is compressed, for example going over speed bumps. The problem has been existing for 20,000 miles and reported to the dealership at regular service intervals, including recent 60K. Dealership has not been able to resolve but last service interval they noted there was some rusting on the linkage which they hosed down with silicon spray. Suspension still squeaks but at least this time they didn't blame acorns in my A/C intake as the problem
