Has anyone experienced a suspension noise on the rt. front of the vehicle? When my Versa is driven on bumpy roads it's evident something is loose.

I'm off to the dealer tomorrow, just thought others may have noticed this.

I heard this noise for the first 2500 miles of owning my versa. The noise has since disappeared, somewhere around 3000. A nissan enthusiast told me it is common for nissans to have really "tight" suspension when new. I hope this helps.

We had someone that had a dealership they thought had "suspension" noise on the LF... they replaced the struts, wheel bearing, etc. A description of the problem indicated it was probably the bearing.

What kind of noise are you getting?

I've had a noise coming from the right front since day one but it's not the suspension. It's a rattle coming from the dash or door. Still trying to track it.

Update:After further diagnosis I agree-it's in the cabin somewhere.

Nissan Tech heard the noise and adjusted hood-ho help. He's in the process of removing glovebox and going deeper. Hopefully he'll find something.

I have a rattling noise at the front of the center console where it meets up with the control panel for the radio and AC,

Going to have it checked out when I get the bumper repaired.

It's right past the shifter in my 4AT, that may be the same thing for yours.

I have heard this same noise, right in front of the cupholders. Every time I have heard it I have suspected it's my water bottle in the cupholder... but it's not. It seems worst when the car is cold. When it sits in the sun during the day or does not freeze at night (rare this spring - hopefully that's over!) it does not seem to rattle.

Final analysis:

Dealer kept car for the day and called the following morning. They said problem was with the front passenger window rail. They claimed noise stopped when window was rolled down.

I asked, "the noise stops when the passenger window is rolled down?"

Service writer: "Yep, no noise when window is down"

"That's odd since the noise is coming from the very front right of the car and your tech thought it was suspension related"

Service writer: "Yeah, I even drove with him, it's the window rail and we have one on order. It will be in in a few days."

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and left dealership.

I drove home on the bumpy road with the numerous concrete expansion joints where I get the noise, rolled the passenger window down and as expected.........Absolutely no change. *Rattle, rattle, thunder, clatter, boom boom boom.*

Oh well, maybe someone else on the forum will have better luck if they experience this and get it diagnosed. Something is definitely banging in the Rt. front area over bumps.
