Yes! Your tension rod bushing is shot. It's time for a new one. That is the reason I've changed mine with Tien and it feels solid, tight and very responsive when making turn or stop. Feels like I was driving my Z32 again not Q45.Only down fall is I can feel every single crack and bumps on the road through my steering wheel. Now I'm used to it but in the begining I wanted to go with OEM rubber bushing for that smooth ride. I guess It's all about your prefrence.Dark Anghell wrote:When ever I step on my brakes the front wheel shifts toward the back of the car by about 1", and when I start going again, it moves back to it's original position.
Sounds like your upper strut mounts are blown.radride wrote:A bit off topic but lately my car makes a squeeling/rubber rubbing noise coming from the strut tower when I turn the wheel at slow speeds. Its coming from the rubbers that are on top of the struts (you can see them when you look at the strut towers). I have had my mechanic look at them and he finds nothing wrong. Is there a way to lubricate them?
Also when you turn your wheels back and forth are the tops of the struts supposed to move back and forth? Mine move about 0.5 inchs in either direction.

Will post pics when they are available.
