I have ordered 10 more, and they should be in this week. If the weather holds out, I will have them ready to ship by Monday. The price is still $50.00 shipped, unless you live outside the 48 states, then I will need to get you a quote on shipping.

If you are interested, send me your shipping information, your car information, and phone number to:

I appreciate your fast and professional service Jeff you were straigth foward with me on everything and mounting was very easy. People say that there's only four nuts too mount but, you also have two brace bolts and nuts and two lock nuts also. My strut mounts were red!

I think the next batch will be black, but will not know for sure, until I open the boxes.

Quick question...

Ok, there is the bracket that bolts to the frame. Then part where the bar bolts to the bracket... how tightly should i bolt that part down? I tried tightening it down, but the bracket started to bend just slightly so i stopped.

Thanx, James

I believe you are talking about the allen bolt where the aluminum rod bolts to the steel hats.

I would tighten until it is very snug or around 25 ft-lbs of torque. Bending the tabs on the hats are not a big deal.

I have 1 ready to ship, 1 that needs a little TLC, and supplies to make 10 more on the way.

I received the parts today. They are yet a different design. The center bar seems a bit flatter This might pose a plenum clearance issue. I will do some testing tonight, and let you guys know. I may be buying 10 more bars...

Well, the bars will hit the plenum as-is. The center bar seems to be the same part, just the angle of the bends are less. I will try a few things with them, to get the cirrect angle with a few machine shops I know of. It may take a little longer to get these ready.

I will keep you posted.

I wouldnt have the bar bent more. Maybe the shocktower mounts could be made slightly extended... If so have them made stronger?

I agree, it would be easier, except the hats are already made.

Bending the bar would reduce the stress on the hats, and be stronger, actually. The angle of the brace would reduce the force effect on the hats, and transfer some of the force into the shock tower itself. The problem with the first design, is that the lateral force was too great, and the tabs on the hats were too long, causing warpage of the hats.

I can bend the bars slightly, to gain clearance without weakening the center bar much at all. It is the same bar, just more straight. The trick will be making them all the same.
