I put this here, since the Infiniti General forum gets most of the Q45 traffic.

I am running another batch of braces for the masses. I should be able to keep the $40.00 per price, but have not gotten a receipt email from my supplier.

These will be the modded 2000 Maxima bars that I have been making. They are a lot like the factory 1997-2001 bars.

I have a list of people that have expressed interest, and will contact those people throught the email system in the next few days.

If you are interested in getting one, send me an email with the following information:

NICO handleFull NameShipping Address (residence or business)Phone Number for that address for FedExApplication (1990 to 1996 Q45)

I will finalize this list on June 24th, and confirm the total cost, including shipping. At that time, I ask that you pay me for the bars either through PayPal, money order, or personal check. No cash - I don't trust the stuff! I have had only one non-paying customer so far - let's try to keep it that way.

If you want to see what the bars look like, check out my Member's Ride section (just click on one of the pictures in my signature). The bars on my cars are a raw aluminum, and the ones I am getting now, are a silver coated aluminum that does not require polishing.

Here is what I do:

I buy the bars for about $20 to $25 eachI spend about 1 hour per bar, drilling cutting grinding, and paintingI box it up and ship FedEx ground to your addressI keep $10 per bar for supplies and tools (justifies the mess to the wife)I will give all excess profits to NICO

I have done about 40 bars so far, and have good responses. I LOVE the way my 2 Q's handle with the bars

It is a lot more effort, to install on an active Q, but I know it can be done.

WELL worth the $.

Matter of fact, like I've said before - the best mod for the money I've done to my Q.

I have 9 signed up.

The bars are on a slow boat from China, and should be in the states in a couple weeks. I need to order at least 10, to get the discounted price.

There are 2 members that I haven't heard from in a while.

JedCoop (bought one, and expressed interest in a second)Q45denver

I probably won't place the order until St John the Baptist day.

Byron saw the one I had on Lola.

I think they could sell it for $100, especially since STILLEN charged well over $200 for theirs.

Jeff, can you remind me who has one on an active?

Also, i recall Layla is a base model [no tcs]. Could you post a pic tof the bar from Lola [showing TCS motor notchout]. I'm sure more than 1 person has a bar on their TCS model, just trying to get a feel for how much of a pain it will be for me...

thanks,Jay

Lola has no TCS either. She does have Super HICAS, but all those hoses are below the engine. Wes had TCS on his old Q. I was not aware of a fitment issue on TCS-equipped models.

As far as sctive Q's, 350zQ45a has the Stillen bar on his active Q, and there are a couple others. I think Texasoil either has one, or can give direction on how to install one on the active Q.
