I was browsing http://www.everythingg35.com today and I found this pic of what appears to be a Nissan badge (Maxima?) with the JWT Popcharger and a strut tower brace that fits over the engine cover and the intakes... does anyone know who manufactures this strut tower brace and how I can obtain it???

This may or may not be relevant. I had car with a plenum spaces and a strut tower brace once. The brace was not made for a car with the spacer. Eventually, the torque of the engine as it revved was sufficient to raise the plenum and it would hit the brace, and eventually that cracked the plenum. If you have the spacer, check the clearance between the upper manifold and the spacer and how much your engine torque shifts when you rev it. Just something to consider before adding the brace...I hear we have plastic intakes (VQHRs) and they may be less tolerant to this problem (if it exists at all).

Thanks for the heads up... my brother has a similar strut brace on his Lexus IS350 along with a fujita intake and he hasn't had any issues with rubbing, but It's definately a tight squeeze... I don't have an aftermarket plenum spacer, but I really want the strut tower brace... I may end up just settling for the Stillen Sway bars, but i've heard that they have a completely different effect than the strut bar. Just trying to stiffen up the ride a little to handle better in corners... not racing or anything.

That looks like a VQ35HR engine, probably in a Z. (See the dual intake.)It might fit your G as is.

I knew that the 350Z and the new G35 were similar, but do you really think that the strut brace would fit for the G? I've done a little research on this, but I keep hitting dead ends with whether or not it will fit... I suppose I could just buy it and try to fit it... if it doesn't fit, then return it....

I smell another write-up... No wait, I just farted.
