front strut brace 95 s15 rb25det

i was wanting to know if someone could help me out. i have a 1995 240sx with a rb25det swapped and i want to get a front strut brace for it but the DC one that i bought would not clear the engine. i am asking for help in seeing what people have for a front strut brace that will clear the engine. thank you.

Did you check the fabricators market?There's a really nice one there that wraps behind the rb's stock intake and also attaches to the firewall.

is there a site for the fabricators market? i had a crappy front strut brace at first but when i did the swap to the rb i purchased the DC carbonsteel one from andysautosport and it was a really nice one but did not fit over the rear of the engine.

have you used the cusco one or know anyone that has in the s14 with the rb25det swap?

buddy had cusco in a s13 with rb20 and it pushed the brace to be parallel with firewall and a lot closer, close to where the ignitor is but it fit nice he had tophat mounts

The infamous 'Rotorpimp' bar appears not to be in production anymore since well, He is nowhere to be found!

i hate to admit this but the egay strut bars clear the 20/25 in the s body w the stock intake manifolds. hope this helps!

what mounts were you using? i was using topcrap mounts, fit over my stock intake manifold with 1/2-3/4 inch. switched to custom solid mounts so idk if this would effect the mounting by 1/8th of a inch.

not to sure but mine still clears, ive had to many 20/25 under my hood, they have all cleared the egay bars

just the regular strut brace from the towers in the s15 but it just wont clear the engine on the drivers side of the car i moved the throttle bracket to make one side fit and then the other side was in the way.

That's the one I was talking about... Why did he go? He didn't sell me one yet...Meh, there are more strut braces around though...

yeah there are some around but i dont wanna keep spending money on a brace when i could just find out which one works and buy it once. already 2 braces have failed. lol

there was a ebay one that i had when i first got the car and then there was a DC carbon steel one that didnt clear the engine either.

the nrg one on ebay pushes the bar closer to firewall
