Front Strut Bar?

I have always been curious about these. I know what they do, and it is the only thing my buddy has actually said I should get. I personally would like the way it looks, especially if I get it powder coated. The problem is, this is the only one I see offered...

The problem is that they both require you to take off (or modify) the cable cover.

This one doesn't say you have to modify anything, but I assume it is just a cheap copy of the above ones...

But the oddest thing I have noticed is that NO ONE has them on their Zs. Why is this? Do people not feel they are necessary, or do they not want to run without about cable cover? Are there any that fit with the cable cover on?

Depends on how sunk your engine mounts are, they will fit over some engines with the cover on.

The Powertrix ones go on sale for $150 or less a few times a year directly through them. I wouldn't pay $200.

I know people that have them. They will firm things up. However, also read they can cause understeer (I think) and other issues.

Front isn't really beneficial and in some cases can make handeling worse. This is what Charles (owner of Powertrix) told me himself. You would have more gains from a rear strut bar.
