http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...oriesseller is "plazacomplex9197"

another thread to add into the ebay feedback (and im curious..) anyone ever use these? i highly doubt these are made FOR Cusco like the description says, but if they fit and work good, they are a good price. I thought i saw someone with these but dont remember who. Thanks in advance!

The packaging at the bottom says "Motoria" which makes knock off exhausts and other products....looks decent for the price.

I was gonna buy those, but they mysteriously disappeared from eBay when I had the money

Ended up with a used Cusco CA18 style bar, with the bend like that one.

I say go for those, pretty cheap. And it's just a strut bar.... what's the worst that can happen. Heck paint the shock tower plates blue and tell people it's a Cusco. Doesn't matter.

I had some on my Euro 200sx and there wasn't anything wrong with them. They bolted right up, fitment was decent (not perfect), and it cleared the CA what more could you want for 89 bucks. I mean if you really had too you could buy a sticker and slap it on there if the name makes you feel better.

It's a STB. It'll be fine.

Looks like it should be fine. How much it will help is anyone's guess though.

I have developed a testing apparatus to measure chassis flex during heavy turning in order to develop my own braces. I may pick one of these up and run it around the test course to see how it stacks up against my own designs....

from my understanding of Strut bars, in a nut shell, they help keep the tires planted and reduce body roll, correct?

as for this perticular one, im basically wondering about clearance, thats all.

In a nutshell, yes.

It achieves this by reducing the chassis flex that is induced in cornering. By getting rid of this flex, the suspension acts more consistent.

A cheap strut bar, made with cheap material, will still have flex. Granted, it won't be as much as without a bar.

But don't mind my ramblings. I get WAY too in depth with chassis design and suspension geometry because I am working on products for 240s.

I had good clearance with my CA. It had a pretty strong feel to it too. For 89 bucks for front and back it was definately better than nothing at all.

It may seem that way, but testing has shown otherwise.

On a 93 Civic with Ebay strut bars, and otherwise stock suspension, that chassis flex was only reduced by 3-7%. When done with a name brand, chassis flex was reduced by 16% or more.

This was mainly due to material and fabrication. On the outside, the bars were fairly similar.

The outside doesn't tell the whole story.

where did you come up with this information? any sources/data to backup? im not discounting your claims, but it'd be nice for the forum if there was some evidence to back it up
