ok, i thought this would be real easy, but i have a question. i thought you just have to take the nuts off the top of the strut and bolt on the strut bar, but the strut bar is not solid and tight and im not sure if i have to tighten the bolts ont eh bar itelf to make it stiff

Yes.. the bolts go on top of the strut bar and you tighten it down...

Im not too sure about what you mean when you say "the bar is not solid and tight"

well i know how to put it on, so i guess my question is, to install it, is that all you do? you dont the bar itself at all?

Unless it's a triangular bar that connects to both strut towers and the firewall, you just hold the strut tower bar down using the three nuts (on each side) that hold the strut insulator to the strut tower.

On a side note, technically you're not supposed to reuse those nuts. If you're going to reuse them, at least make sure you torque them to spec.

well i reused the bolts and didnt use a torque wrench, just turned them hard enough to keep them on, but i msut say its amazing what a $5 supsension upgrade can do. i got it off ebay for $5, and now i can turn a lot tighter, and when i push the car, i can get the back to start coming out. i havnt pushed it enough, and i doubt i can get it to fully come out, but ti starts skidding and the handling is a lot tighter. not bad for a 94 sentra with not even 110 hp. definatley worth it
