1997 Pathfinder 4x4 Manual
*Have NOT been able to search this forum for days, so posting new thread*

Have had this trucks for several years, initially replaced all of the sway bars as it developed death wobble almost immediately after purchase.

After several years of driving on bumpy dirt roads, front end suspension started to fail badly so have replaced many parts:
Tie rods, ball joints, struts, and lastly, stabilizer links.

Note: The right (passenger) side was particularly trashed in comparison to the left

She rides and drives beautifully now, but when the wheel is cranked all the way to either side, the right (passenger) sway bar link "jumps" alarmingly.
Most notably, going very slowly backward or forward - parking is particularly fun when everyone looks to see where the noise is coming from - or when coming from a stop turning onto an intersection on rough roads.

Would it be possible for the front sway bar to be bent?
There is a junk yard nearby with an identical that can be picked off of. If I am going to replace the bushings, would it make sense to replace the entire bar as well?

its definitely possible. you could just disconnect the sway bar and drive it around a bit to see if the sound stops
