So I installed my Tein Basics and always wondered why the rear springs arent flush with the perch and why the rear sqeaked/clunked, so I put some of the OEM strut boot underneath them and it stopped squeaking but not really the clunking.

I had to change the flat tire in the rear, so I went ahead and took off the front tire to adjust the height. I examined the spring to see that it had excesses space around the spring perch and top mount

By the looks of it it seems the springs are reversed...I dont know how in the hell did I do that. Its been about a month of riding like this, so the strut shouldnt be harmed just yet right?

This sucks because its basically winter now

And I no longer have a torque wrench...I *have* one, but it was a craftsman that I bought from ebay (and it had the plastic handle which of course broke, so its stuck at a lower torque). You think I should wait until I get another torque wrench before trying to re-install?
