Sent ya an email.Josh@Stillen wrote:Not a painted one.. but I can definitely make sure we shoot some shots of a unfinished urethane one against the sedan we'll have next week. Nothing magazine ready, but should give you a realistic idea of the shape/size..
That being said.. shoot me an email, if you're willing to get it painted and installed ASAP, I'll make it worth your while...
That is a GREAT statement to hear. There mainly coupe owners on nicoclub but almost every other altima forum im subscribed to is more sedan owners compared to coupe.Josh@Stillen wrote:These pieces do have to be crafted out of urethane specific to the body lines that they are being installed upon, so for now it will just be the OEM bumper.
We have talked about our own lip spoiler and front fascia, but they have not hit the modeling shop as of yet..
We are having a altima sedan in next week, so for you sedan guys, we're not ignoring you, things are in the works..
That isn't true - the reason that FWD has a traction advantage over RWD in inclement weather is because of the extra weight of the engine over the drive wheels. So pushing down of the front of a front wheel drive car will increase traction. - this would also counteract the natural tendency of a car to shift weight to the rear on heavy acceleration - (bad for FWD - Good for RWD).johnny_d wrote:Having these on FWD isn't as rice as having big wings or is it? pushing down on the front of a FWD isn't really beneficial since we're just making the weight distribution worse? Thanks
Half your statement helps johnny_d's comment but the other half is against it. Good traction on fwd but its bad at the same time?Cali 2 Balti G wrote:

I think the answer is:gatorglaze wrote:So in the end would the splitters be GOOD for our cars or BAD.
So are you supposed to paint these? From all the photos that I've seen, I thought it was normal to leave them in the natural black unpainted color.Josh@Stillen wrote:Not a painted one.. but I can definitely make sure we shoot some shots of a unfinished urethane one against the sedan we'll have next week. Josh is going to check now and call me back, he doesn't believe they would be to far away. Seems like it was pushed to the back burner while the sedan front fascia isbeing developedmcheddadi wrote:go adidas! go! go!
