Is the front spindle/knuckle lock nut a 36mm just like the rear?

Dang, I was hoping it was 36mm because those big sockets will set you back some dough. That 36mm socket cost me like $17 bucks!!!!

I know man, same here I already have the nice big 36 and my sets end at 26, have standards all the way up through 1 1/2" but just for reference a 1 1/4" socket will def strip it with some torque, meh I'll need it again at some point at least.

Ok, not sure what you were trying to say there, but the front's are 32's and the rears are 36's on standard S13's. Were you just clarifying that or stating differently?

I remember doing my 5 lug and zbrakes on a Sunday...only to find I needed a 30mm for the front.

Trying to find a freak 30mm socket on a Sunday evening isn't fun. Ended up using a 1 3/16" on it, fits great.

But honestly, $17 for a socket? They better be made of precious metals for that price.

And DRIFTN has no idea what he's talking about.

Agreed, but I did some thinking and realized that I will need that 36mm socket again when I replace my axles and put in a LSD. I'm satisfied now.
