As the title states, I'm trying to get the measurements for the front hats. Diameter, bolt spacing (I can get from the top), outer and inside diameter, etc. What I am planning to make is some spacer rings and install slightly longer bolts so I can add spacers to raise the front of my car. I have the cali customs springs and the front is lower than the rear and I don't like it. I would rather have even tire gap front to rear. I will probably have a few 1/8" thick rings made to add on top of the hats and put about 1/2" longer bolts in the hats.

Does anyone have a set of front hats out of the car currently and can do some measurements/drawings for me? My Q is currently my daily driver and I don't want to pull them out to get the measurements until I'm ready to do the mod.

Thanks.

The front will always look higher regardless. I say try got some shorter srpings for the rears. Same thing happened to me which is why I did my little trick.

Setting a caar by tire to fender gap is just plain foolish because the front gap will always be greater to permit full suspension travel when the wheels are at the end of the steering rack's travel.

Pay attention to the suspension component's alignment or your wife's dresses hemlines or your cuff break, each of which is more important.

Jeff Williams (who makes the FTSB that many of us own) should have those measurements. Might be worth emailing him if his address is available in his profile.

I had the same problem with my cali's. Seems to be common with those. I went the other way. I lowered my rear to match. All I needed was 1/2". I notched out the bolt holes in the lower mounts. Dropped her 1/2" and no side effects. You have the room. How much difference front to rear?

No, the front will not always look higher hence my desire to lift it a bit.

I'd rather not go any lower in the rear. I have clearance issues mostly in the front with my turbo setup so I'd rather go up in the front. If I was doing this strictly for cosmetics I would probably drop the rear but I'm not.

And last, I guess it wouldn't be NICO without Maxnix posting something completely useless and of no value to the thread.

I'll just get the measurements myself...
