Has anyone replaced their front seats? Coming from a sport Q50 and sport G35, I find M56's seats the least comfortable (I'm 6'2''). Q50 and G35 seemed to be much better with support.

With that said, I am not sure of feasibility of replacing the seat with Q50, but seeing how many parts from Q/G fit M's, curious if G37's seat will fit the rails, etc?

Or has anyone installed aftermarket seats in their M? I understand seats are a personal preference so this is more of a technical feasibility question.

Example of seats to install: http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-INFINITI- ... 4v&vxp=mtr

Thanks!

Hmm, like mine, but not sure if the S has different seats.

You'll lose the cooling function, no?

Good deal! Yes, cooling will be lost, but you will gain thigh tightening and thigh extenders. Not sure I will do this, maybe need to give more time. Plus I don't keep cars more than 1.5-2 years, so might not be worth it..

Today I have also noticed slight distortion in the line of sight - anyone else have that with their windshield? Lol... I dunno why I keep finding these things.

On the good side, I am mastering flooring at the corners and keeping control of the rear! Gotta love 400+ ponies.

Yes, the "S" seats are different. They have more of a bolster and "grip ridges" in the back and butt part.

The blurriness you see in the windshields is laminate separation. I currently have it. You gotta get your windshield replaced.

I do have the sport, but like I said - big difference from q50 sport seats...

Is laminate separation visible or just causes distortion? The car is only 3-4 yrs old, seems strange.

By visible I meant if you can see any physical issues with the windshield (outside for example).
Or is it only distortion that can be seen? It's very faint, like a strip in the middle of the windshield.

Naw, I don't see any physical damage but mine is almost the entire windshield. I didn't notice it for awhile. Very faint but definitely there. If you have warranty they might replace it.

Many insurance companies also include glass in their policy's as standard...since you pretty much need it to stay safe on the roads lol.

But I think you have to pay your deductible right? Mine is $500. What's the average price for a windshield? Florida gives you a 1 freebie windshield if a rock hits it.

Depends on the company. I thought some were free of deductible since it's a HUGE safety issue having a bad windshield.

I think the deductible also depends upon what caused the replacement. Vandalism, etc might have a deductible, but maybe not road hazards, etc.
