My driver's seat has a rip in it -- should I try to sew it together? I'm not sure if that will work. The seat works fine mechanically, but is 'rough' -- I bought the car used and the idiots before me were rought with the car.

How much is a replacement seat if I get it from a junkyard -- how hard to install?

Depends, i had my rear seat re done by an upolstery place for a buck fifty. The seat itself is really easy to install its only 4 bolts and a electrical connection. The only thing is that the 93's have a differnt switch then the other years, it may or may not make a difference.

Get it done at an upholstery place (preferbly somewhere where custom work is done). It doesn't cost that much to redo a leather seat. There use to be somone on this forum who had the front bottom ones redone in a rich suede. They looked very nice.
