Front Seat Does not move- 61 miles on car

my family member just bought a 08 versa and the driver side front seat is stuck in position it does not move...any way to fix it at home so someone else car drive the car?

Describe how it is stuck. The seat is mounted on rails. Are you using the right adjustment bar? The one under the seat?

yes. the right side of the rail does not move. the pass seat moves fine, but the driver side under lever is pulled up it does not release the slide mechanism for the seat to go forward or back

well then you will have to take it back to the dealer to have the seat mechanism replace or repaired under warranty.

if you mess with it trying to get it unstuck they may say you caused the damage to the part.
