Front S14 Speakers not working...

Ok, I got my car a few months ago, and everything worked fine, then about a month or so ago, the front speakers (both) stopped working. I thought maybe the speakers were dead, so i bought a new set, but still nothing, i took apart the center console, but and all the wires were hooked up, so any ideas? let me know. thanks much.

I also tried getting a different amp for the front, but no change in the situation. any help?

In my S14 (1995), there were two stock amps under the rear package shelf. See if anything is obviously wrong with these. If not, you may need to bypass them, especially if you have a new head unit. There should be a tutorial for this in the FAQ section. Good luck, let me know if this is the problem.
