hey, can anyone help me out....

i have to replace my front rotors on my 1997 infiniti i30, also brakes, and one of my calipers are frozen. so i am assuming i have to replace both. Does anyone know what im getting into? lolshould i do it, or should i have it done...i have replaced rotors before(1991 explorer) and i am pretty mechanicly inclined. I just dont really get the whole bleeding the brakes thing. Am i bleeding the brakes to fill the calipers? can someone fill me in on the whole process...it would be much appreciated. LOVE THIS FRIGGEN SITE!it has already saved me $$$$$$$YOU GUYS F***** rock

You bleed the brakes to replace old fluid and to remove any air after opening up the system. If you remove a caliper you will have to bleed the whole system...from every caliper and ABS too if it has bleeders on it. When you say the caliper's frozen, you mean the piston won't retract back into the body? Make sure it isn't crooked and caught on an edge. If your pads are worn evenly on both sides of the rotor I would think the piston isn't really stuck.
