So i had a issue about having Tokico blues in front and i noticed the front right was higher, i said, well a blown bottle on the left, changed to JIC Magic coilovers, adjusted both coils to have the same height on both adjusting rotating things, when i put them in the car and lowered i STILL have the Front Right side higher both coils are the same height the car SHOULD be paired, i checked my tyres, 195 Front Right (raised side) 205 on the Front Left both are 16 rims, rear ones are 15 rims same numbers..

So im astonished trying to figure out whats wrong here, i dont thing the 195/205 difference is about the height but width right? so it shouldnt affect? im afraid to say that maybe i got a chassis problem or something? How could i check it? with the FSM alignement meassures on the Frames? (No shop will do that here im in a small *** island in the middle of nowhere)

Help!

Edit: I meassured both coils with a Ziptie, meassuring that both of them had the same space under the rotating things so the springs should be paired, would it be NORMAL to have to lower one of them to pair them? :S

Yeah 55, but they are both the same on the front =\ im puzzled....

Would it be Normal? Ok? to lower one coil more than the other to level the car????

How much of a difference is there?Where are you measuring ride height from? When you set your coils to the same height did you make sure the springs were the same height as well as the gap?

If anything, the side with 195 should be lower than the 205 side if they are both 55 series.

Grrr i dont quite understand the wheel specs, gonna start reading, today i lowered the car more, the tyres touched the coil =\ used some spacer reduced camber and its ok i guess, gonna pair same wheels and try, cause now im hearing a cluck when a heavy fall hits the car, i think im bottoming the coils =\

195/50/16

195 is width in milimeters. Tire is 195 milimeters wide.

50 is the profile, it tells you the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width. A 50 series tire is 50% as tall as it is wide. To find your sidewall height you would multilply 195 x 0.50

If you had a 60 series, it would be 195 x 0.60 and so on.

16 is the rim diameter in inches.

So, being that you have a 195/55/16 and a 205/55/16, the 195 has a tire height of 107.25mm (195 x 0.55) and the 205 has a tire height of 112.75mm (205 x 0.55). So one side is going to be 5.5mm taller...a little less than 1/4 of an inch. If it looks like one side is just barely higher by less than a 1/4 inch, then your solution is getting a tire to match the other. If it's higher than more than that, then it might be something else.

If they're adjustable coilovers, then make them stiffer. But that means you'll have to increase your ride height than they are now. Either that or do some drastic weight reduction on your chassis.

First thing you need to do is match your tires by axle. Both fronts should be the same size, and both rears should also be the same size. Now the rears don't have to match the fronts, but it is pretty silly to run 4 different brands of tires in 3 different sizes. Fix that.Yes it is normal for the car to sit unevenly. My car sits about 3/4" lower on the driver side. I had the car aligned and placed on a frame rack to check for any damage. All was good, it was just the uneven weight distribution of things on the car. Like my heavy *** exhaust system for example.
