Got your email...

for those who are interested, James contacted the guy who he bought his 24mm rear bar from, said they dont have them anymore but someone else can make them (not surprising)..

Sounds like they need to sell 30 bars if they remake them?

Why not use the 24mm to make a 22mm which according to Q45tech should be ideal. I seem to recall Dennis mentionig that 22 would be the one.

i hear what u r saying, i personally liked the 24mm that was on my car, little tail happy. Interested to try the 20mm.

i will call the fabricator and find out how many they need to make for a small production run

The problem is one rear bar size doesn't fit all [in that some have stock springs and some have lowering springs] when stock rears are 123 and aftermarket have a rising rate beyond 200.

Same with tires some have 400 treadwear and some 160, some have 65 aspect and some have 35.

Some want the car adjusted for a single driver and some want a passenger and rear passengers and or trunk weight.

Change the weight load by 5% [~~200 pounds] [especially in the rear of CG line] and you are out of tune!

Put a combination of 200 pounds in rear seat/trunk and suddenly the Q balance is 50/50.

this is all great information, and i agree, but you have to take the bad w/ the good and find a balance u can live with

Probably why he does not recommend the 24mm, but does recommend the 22mm.

I use a 20mm with Eibach and 400 treadwear Michelins, the 28mm front bar makes the 20mm seem like it is a 20.75mm rear bar stiffness ratio shift wise.............what would be required with a 29mm front bar.

Realistically we are getting too nit picky. No matter what size someone makes there will be a group that thinks it's wrong. Some will want hollow and some will want the less expensive solid.

I think the 20mm provides the best overall for ride quality, handling, safety, and driveability for all seasons...
