Besides buying from the dealership, does anyone know how to get a motor for the front power seat adjustment? I can't move the seat foward or backward. However, I can move the seat up and down and adjust the back without any problems. I am just over 7,000 miles on my warranty and the Infiniti dealership wants to charge $800 to fix this which I think is a big rip off. I can't believe this broke as soon as my warranty was up. Please help.

Infinititech1, it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to take the seat apart and install the motor right? Please look into getting the motor and let me know how much it's going to be. Thanks alot.

I appreciate your effort in looking for that part, but I won't be needing it anymore. Last night, I came home from work and started to look at the motor trying to figure out how I would take it apart when I got the motor from you. I banged on the motor a little bit with my flashlight and pulled on it a little bit. After 2 months without working, the seat adjustment started to work and it seems to work without any problems. I don't know what I did to make it work but it's working now. Hopefully it's not a temporary fix. Sorry for any trouble that I may have put you through and any inconvenience.

ok...just know that what you did is a temporary fix and will only work for a couple times...the motor will go completely out after a few times...just so you know

Hello Infinititech1,

I'm looking to upgrade my power drivers seat to also have memory.

What would it take?

Would finding a memory control panel at a junk yard or such be all I wouldneed?

thanks in advance

Ya...how about for a coupe? And what about the nice seatbelt holder in the 06 (my belt gets uncomfortable at times)...

as for the memory...no...you will need the whole seat adjuster assembly as the motors are sensors in them for the memory.

and joe...what for a coupe?
