Front plate holder

Anyone know the size of our front tow hook so i can put a plate holder in there? I want to relocate my plate

I'm pretty sure the 2010+ coupes don't have a front tow hook. There is still that hole for an "imaginary" one.

A week after I purchased my car, I noticed it was missing a tow hook in the back where the spare sits, so I asked the Nissan dealership to throw one in... they proceeded to show me that that hole in the front of the bumper opens to show no hole... odd

So...what's there LOL. That seems pretty silly, to include a tow hook door but no tow hook.

And that is the question we all ask... one of the few questions I have about my car that include a; why bother?

Couldn't we drill and tap a new hole? Like what is behind that door?

Yes, you could. I've seen it done. But yeah, if you don't track the car I don't see why. They have plate mounts that looks way cleaner than that tow hook thingy. I see it on Beamers all the time.

yeah i just got a different plate holder that screws onto a hidden part of the bumper

to drill and tap, youll need to weld on a nut for the plate mount to go through. Reason being is the bar is too "soft" and would deform and s***. I looked into this when i still had my car.
