front passenger side door lock actuator

are there any other options for repairing this part...apart from buying it from the dealer?

Welcome to the forum.

Is it weather related (sticking)? Or flat out broke? If broke, you might be able to try a junkyard/car dismantler.

I have had this issue on and off on my drivers side door for over a year. The fix is $500 per door (see my related post a month back) and not simple. I would wait a few months and see if it starts working again. I thought mine was totally dead now it's working again. The actuator could be fine and maybe there is a loose connection or a short somewhere.
