Good evening all - I suspect this maybe be a common question, but I cant find anything on the forum that discusses it.

I'm a new (to me) Armada Owner ('08, SE, with a few options added), and am slowly working my way through getting acquainted. I suspect my front parking sensors may have been disabled. When driving, I either have a flashing amber light marked "OFF" on the sensor switch, or if I press it, a solid amber light. When stopped I either get the light on or off. Pointing the car at the wall in my garage, in "Drive" I cant get any beeps. The rear sensors are working normally.

I cant find anything in the manual that mentions this light. Has the previous owner disabled the sensors in some known way, or am I just being dumb & don't know how to operate them?

Regards
Brian

I don't have time to look it up, but the rear sensors on older models are supposed to have a diagnostic mode you can enable. I'd speculate it exists for the front sensors as well. That would be where I'd start looking for the issue.

I have the same issue. After an accident, my front sensor beep stayed on, then had to re-attach it to the bumper so It would stop making that noise. After getting the front bumper cover replaced by a shop, I guess they didn't reset the sensors. The rear ones work fine, but when I test out the front sensors by moving close to an object, the sensor light starts blinking, but I don't hear a noise.

Did you get your issue fixed?
