i have a 1993 300zx and my question is how does the front panel between the headlights come off? i know there are 4 bolts, well, i took them all off, and then i was told the panel was supposed to just slide out, and it didn't. so how is it supposed to come off? thanx.

there is the 2 bolts through the panel itself then 2 bolts through the brackets. once those 4 are removed you just pull it bcak toward the engine. It takes a bit of an effort to pull it out of the retainers in the bumper.
