My front oil seal on my '91TT is leaking so, it's time to get it replaced. I was looking at the service manual and the replacement process recommends the removal of the oil pan. Has anyone else had to do it that way or were you able to just remove it from the oil pump with everything installed? One other thing, it appears to remove the bolts on the TT pan on the rear I'll have to drop the tranny. Am I making this too difficult?
