most people get battery relocation kits that go in the trunk. They are pretty universal and can find them on summit and sites like that. There are batteries that fit, and are usually called 'slim' batteries.

I just got a riding lawn mower battery... my Blitz kit came with a tie down for it and I just wanted to get it going so I didnt worry about a trunk mount. It starts the car fine but if you are big into audio i wouldnt recommend it...

Genesis Sealed Lead battery bought from Enjuku. It works great with my system and all. The only downside is this thing is rediculously small (plenty of room left). I also still need to make a battery tie down rig for it.

I got an everstart from wal-mart for 30 bucks. I don't know if it will fit good for everyone but it fit very nice for me. I could email a pic if you like. I could give you the battery number too. It has the same cranking amps that the standard size battery has, which was really important to me since I live in coooooold South Dakota.

I say send it to the trunk. It really cleans up the engine bay!

If u move the battery to the trunk ull take a few pounds off the front and add it to the rear (where u want it) but i just used a Stinger SP-800 Drycell battery.....it fit perfectly
