I just replaced the front main seal on my '91 240. Was i supposed to drive the seal all the way to the stop, or leave it flush with the front cover? I noticed there was an oil passage behind the old seal, and i just want to make sure i didn't block off the passage when I installed the seal to the stop.Thanks.
