I just got an aluminum pulley set which I installed over the weekend. Everything seem fine until I started the car. Oil started leaking all over the place. I was coming from behind the crankshaft pulley. So I figured the front main oil seal is leaking. So I ordered a new one, which I had to wait a few hours for, so I took off all the belts and pulled the crankshaft pulley out. took off the front oil seal and found that the aluminum crank pulley has a smaller rear shaft than the stock which cause the oil seal to have too much play. When I got the new one it was much better than the old and more snug so I installed it. Got the car running again and (yeah) no oil. I took it out for a short spin around the block (nothing too fast) and when I got back home there was some oil that leaked out of the front oil seal again.
Does anyone know what I can do or if someone makes custom oil seals that I can use to stop this leak?
Any info or workaround would help a lot. Thanks
Forgot to give the make and model of the car. 95 240sx ka24de motor.
