I have searched, gone through the suspension area, and the technical area and I can not find anything on replacing the front lower control arm bushings. Can any of you guys tell me what is involved, is it a big deal to do?

I know this is really not the place to post this, but I always get my best info from this area.

After a little off site research, I called both Auto Zone, and Advanced Auto. Auto Zone had nothing, Advanced has the 1 arm with bushings and ball joint, lifetime guarantee for $76.00, but not just the bushings.

Ebay has the 2 armwith bushings and ball joint with 1 year gaurentee for $75.00 plus $20.00 shipping.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

Which would you go with?

Actually, I asked exact same question before and no one knew how to replace just the ball joint. I have experience with those controls arms on eBay. They are okay. One problem is ball joint area doesn't fit as well as stock control arm. If you want to keep your car longer, I'd go with OEM arms.

Well, for about $60.00 less, I decided to try the ebay arms. I have had good luck with ebay items, and if they don't work out, I will let others know, and eat the hundred dollars and redo them with OEM.

I was more interested in replacing just the bushings, not ball joints, and I could find nothing on it. The only bushings I could find were the universal "Energy" type bushings.

So far I am very happy with them. For my other car I am going to get the kit with the tie rod ends also. Here is the seller I bought from
