Sorry to go off subject, but you really just need to search. Like Innovazn said, you need a build thread.

You say this now, but I promise that you'll never be stopped just for that  You're gonna be either speeding or driving like a fool on the highway. The cop will just add the "no front plate ticket" extra if you're disrespectful in how you reply to his questions.

just the other day my friend and i (him driving a G37) and me driving a 350Z turbo got pulled over (together) for no front plate. No ticket but stern warning.

How did we avoid it? clean records, our professions and being polite as well as chatting up the cop.

^Yeah, just dont be a DB and cops will usually do the same.

I got pulled over a few weeks back doing 65 in a 45. Cop asked me how fast I thought I was going and I said "When I passed you? 65." and chuckled a little bit. He did the same, ran my papers, and let me on my way.

I think I had plenty of pull over from cops for me to chime in. A bakers dozen for me (13) and never once did I get a ticket it ((knocks on wood)). I will say a quarter of it was because I'm a city worker, especially asking me "where do you work" and right after I give them my answer they let me go.

But other times, I would get pulled over for subtle things like going a liitttle faster than usual in areas, tints, no plate, or just plane ol suspicion. What i would do is take the keys out of the ignition (kinda hard to do that now), place them on the dash board, and just be straight forward with the cop. If I was going 45 in a 40 zone, but he gunned me at 60, lets say, I would comply and say something like "well if I was going that fast, I apologize and I will be more cautious in the future". Or if hes complaining about tints Id say one of the two. Either "They came that way when I bought them and I wasn't aware of it being an issue" or "Well gee officer, the tint shop never laid down the legality issues with me".

The only time I WOULD argue is A) if he ever becomes hostile with me or B) if he starts to write me a ticket.

That makes sense, they would use body filler and then sand the entire bumper and respray the whole thing. A better job would even fog into the rest of the panels.

Your cheapest option is to spray paint a couple of "bumper plugs" and just pop them in. You can get color matched spray paint from your dealership.

yeah its illegal but honestly it all depends on your area, im from union county and work in westfield nj and they will stop you for no front plates, but my gold card gets me out of it. like a number of towns near me will even pull you over for having an air freshener hanging from your mirror and still ticket you
