Hey guys,

long time lurker, new user and first time poster.

I have a 2007 m35 - which originally was tagged in Illinois which had both front and rear plate. I lived in Arkansas for a few years which had no front plate. Not I am in Texas which requires the front plate. I have long since lost the screws and any other part of the bracket (I think?). Based on what the bracket looks like, there doesnt seem to be much for the screws to bite into. Does anyone know if I am missing a piece? Can anyone recommend a screw size that fits? The first set of screws I bought were way too small....

Doesn't seem like you have the clips. Here are some links that might help:

1. Generic fasteners. put the washer between the license plate holder and bumper cover

2. OEM style clip

3. How the OEM style clips usually installs

Option 2: Just get some medium length screws and screw those past the plate holder into the bumper cover [cringe]
Option 3: zip tie the plate to your lower grille

Edit: On 2nd look, it seems like you do have the clips, sorry I can't really recommend a screw size without knowing the clip specs. Just buy a new set to avoid the hassle?? :gotme
