3rd gen Maxima. Im going to jack it up and put it on stands to change the oil. Where are the ideal spots for jack stands up front?

Thanks!

I've never jacked mine up to change the oil. There's plent of clearance, just crawl under there. The drain plug's not far back. Neither is the filter (which is nearly as easily removed from above as below).

There really isn't a good jack point on the front of the car.Jack points are just behind the front wheels, and just in front of the rear wheels on what might be called a framerail if the car were not a monocoque.

There are little notches in the lip/seam on this rail. The car's emergency jack is designed to fit right in them. I just put a block of wood on my uber-industrial floor jack (so as not to damage the rail seam) and--uh--jack away.

If you have the manual, there's an image that shows the jack points.

Where else is it safe to lift the car by? I have a 4th gen, btw.
